Visit by Dr Hawa Diallo, UN Representative

Students of Grade 8 were treated to a visit by Ms Hawa Diallo, Head of Unit and Public Information Officer in the NGO Relations and Advocacy Section of the Department of Public Information. Students who have presented sustainable development projects at the UN, under the aegis of the 1M1B program, addressed the gathering, inspiring others to think of projects that would make a change in the society. Ms Diallo spoke about her experiences and encouraged the students to say – “The FUTURE is me….and the FUTURE is now!” thus encouraging students to think of a better tomorrow.
