Rajyotsava and Kanakadasa Jayanthi Celebrations

Rajyotsava was celebrated with the customary flair and flourish during the morning assembly. A video put together by students of Middle Years put together a culture rich treat with speeches, medley of songs, instrumental music and a dance, all showcasing the cultural heritage of Karnataka. A befitting tribute was paid to the social reformers, freedom fighters, literary scholars and scientists of our state. The Primary Year students were presented a video on the heritage, culture and history of Karnataka.

The birth anniversary of the poet-philosopher Kanaka Dasa was observed with a speech that highlighted the virtues and values he professed, along with a rendition of a few of his songs.
