KG Sports Day - Tender Feet 2022

A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. To kindle the spirit of sportsmanship among the little stars, NPS RNR, organised sports day-‘Tender Feet’- for the kindergarteners on 16 December, 2022. The theme for the day was ‘Festivals of India’-with an array of cultures depicting unity in diversity. The students’ colourful attire complemented the theme. The day unfolded with bright sunshine and an enthusiastic buzz in the air.

The curtain raiser began with the unveiling of the school Mascot, Napster, the Hamster. This was followed by a formal welcome to the esteemed gathering by the Principal. The Sports day was declared open by the Principal lighting the ceremonial torch igniting the essence of sports.

The march past and spectacular displays by the adorable kids swinging their colourful pom-poms to the tunes of the melodious music embellished the event. This entailed innovative and engaging track events where the children participated in a variety of races, testing their grit and determination. The air was filled with cheers and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Every student went home with a book as a gift with the message that all of them are winners.

It was indeed a day well spent with happy and vibrant smiles all around!
