75TH Independence Day Celebrations

15th August 2022 was celebrated with an extra dose of pomp and fervour, to commemorate the 75th year of independence. The national flag was hoisted by the Principal on the school grounds at 8am, to the melody of the National Anthem. Students of Grade 9 put up a spectacular show online that was replete with patriotic songs and a dance. Speeches in Sanskrit, Hindi and English highlighted the importance of this day, paying tribute to the armed forces who even today keep our borders safe, so we can enjoy our independence. Colourful posters were made for the occasion to add on patriotic flavour. The highlight of the day was the quiz that tested students’ knowledge on the Indian struggle for independence. The program was applauded by students, teachers and parents.
