Children’s Day Celebration – Primary Years, 2023
Children's Day, observed in honour of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birthday, is a special day to celebrate the joy and innocence of childhood, as well as to recognize the role of children in shaping our society's future.
At NPS Rajajinagar the day began on a harmonious note as teachers took center stage to deliver the morning assembly. The school echoed with the sound of laughter and joy, setting the tone for the festivities ahead. A memento that was gifted to the students by teachers served as a heartfelt token of appreciation and affection, fostering a positive teacher- student relationship.
The celebration kicked off with a captivating dance performance by teachers from grades 1 to 5. The event took an enchanting turn as the teachers transformed the stage to wonder and laughter through a drama and skit performance. Teachers engaged the audience with interesting activities that added an extra layer of joy to the day.
The celebration also included an interactive story-telling session. Children were encouraged to share their thoughts, answer questions and even contribute to the storytelling process, creating an engaging and inclusive atmosphere. The event concluded with a musical extravaganza which created a euphonious atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on the young hearts.
The echoes of laughter, the vibrant colors, and the smiles on the faces of children served as a testament to the success of the celebration.
