1, 2, Tree play

To connect students to the benefits of trees and foster environmental stewardship, Concern India, a non-profit charitable trust hosted a play on the 19 of August 2019 for the students of Grades 3-8 in the school auditorium. Titled ‘1.2.Tree’, this 50 min theatrical performance that used techniques of puppetry, was premised on an imaginary world set in the future -buildings everywhere and people paying for oxygen! It portrayed the need to plant trees and gave us a peek into the planet we would leave behind for future generations. A very enriching and interactive session with students followed that left an underlying message to plant trees, encouraging them to save the environment and the world we live in.
