Timelapse
August 22nd and 23rd were days of hustle and excitement at NPS Rajajinagar as students of Grades 11 and 12 hosted Timelapse – an interschool electronics and computer fest. Students from NPS Koramangala, NPS HSR, NPS Indiranagar, NPSi Mysore, NAFL-B, and NAFL North were invited to participate in various tech-centric events, bringing their skills to the forefront in exciting challenges.
Syntaxia - the competitive programming event - brought challenges and obstacles from the computer screen into the real world. Participants competed in various rounds, each with unique twists and constraints while facing elimination and the ticking clock until a true winner emerged!
Students of Grades 6-8 were tested on their animation and game-building skills in Scratch Wars – an intense design and interactive programming competition on the Scratch platform. Participating teams impressed judges with their polished submissions, showcasing their creativity and skill in design.
Ideathon plunged participants into NPSRNR's very own Shark Tank: facing modern problems and pressing crises, participants fought to gain a competitive edge and create profitable situations in adverse environments. Teams pitched their ingenious ideas to a panel of distinguished judges, braving tough questions and defending their solutions.
Elektra brought participants back to the roots of modern technology – innovative electronic design. Combining elements of physics, electronics, computer science, and entrepreneurship, the 2-day event gave participants a platform to showcase their talents in a plethora of fields.
Student explorers ran across corridors and through halls in a race against time in Softwhere – a next-gen treasure hunt event. Meticulously crafted clues engaged participants' puzzle-solving skills, leading them towards cascades of intriguing puzzles and intense challenges; teams constantly raced each other to the ultimate treasure, wishing to prove themselves the best treasure-hunters present.
Finally, NPS HSR claimed the overall championship trophy in a fiercely fought competition. The panel of judges for all the competitions were alumni of NPS Rajajinagar, whose valuable observations and feedback helped hone the events. In conclusion, Timelapse was a memorable experience, leaving hosts and participants with a sense of achievement.
