Onam Pookalam

Onam, the festival of happiness, peace and prosperity was celebrated with great fervor by the students of kindergarten, who got together to make a huge flower carpet. The day began with a lot of excitement as they collected petals from the flowers they had brought to school. The fun continued as the tiny hands put together a large “Pookalam” in the school auditorium with Onam songs being played in the background. They also enjoyed a video on the significance of Onam. The kindergarteners delighted in the festive ambience as they participated in a culturally rich day.
