National Science Day 2025


National Public School Rajajinagar, celebrated Science Day embracing the theme "Viksit Bharat" to highlight the nation’s journey toward scientific advancement. The assembly brought together captivating facts about the wonders of science while honouring the legacy of Sir C.V. Raman, the visionary scientist behind the ground-breaking Raman Effect. The event included a dynamic debate on the future of sustainable transportation, comparing Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles with Electric Vehicles. Another intriguing discussion focused on the need for India’s investment in space technology to propel the nation’s growth. The assembly concluded with an intellectually stimulating quiz that engaged students and sparked their curiosity, leaving them with a deeper appreciation for the ever-evolving world of science.

Students of Gr 8 visited the Raman Research Institute and were treated to a documentary on Sir C V Raman. They explored the different facets of crystal research catalogued in the Institute. The day’s highlight was meeting the scientist Professor Sanjukta Roy, an expert on Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC) in India and viewing real-time solar flares with a device tracking hydrogen activity on the Sun. What an inspiring day of science and its wonders!
