KG Karnataka Rajyotsava

The kindergarten students at National Public School celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava, a day marking the formation of the state of Karnataka. The theme for the day, ‘Karnataka: One State - Many Worlds’, was brought to life through a PowerPoint presentation that showcased the various facets of Karnataka. From the state's renowned freedom fighters, poets, and writers to its iconic rivers, forests, and wildlife, the students learned about Karnataka’s rich cultural, historical, and natural treasures. The air was alive with melodies as teachers engaged the students in a collective singing session, reinforcing the cultural significance of Karnataka. As part of the festivities, the children had fun colouring the Karnataka flag and proudly took home their vibrant creations as fridge magnets. The event culminated with the soulful rendition of Naada Geete, the state anthem, uniting everyone in a shared sense of pride and admiration for the state. The celebration wrapped up with big smiles, as the children sensed pride and excitement to explore more of Karnataka’s culture.
