KG Makara Shankranti 2026

The kindergarten celebrated Sankranti with great enthusiasm, creating a joyful and culturally rich experience for the children. The celebration began with a creative craft activity that included paper folding and making colourful origami takeaways. An informative PPT was used to introduce children to the significance of harvest festivals celebrated across India. Children actively participated by speaking about the importance of the festival in different states and added a devotional touch by chanting shlokas and singing traditional festive songs. A fun game, “Bless the City,” added excitement and encouraged teamwork. Class teachers organized a photo session to capture memorable moments. The traditional ellu bella exchange was conducted in classrooms, spreading the values of sharing and togetherness. The event concluded with sweets and treats, making the occasion memorable and meaningful.
