Class 1 Bag-free Day

Students of Grade 1 enjoyed a bag-free day on Oct 28th, to foster hands-on, interactive learning experiences. They spent the day sharing their favourite learning moments, painted diyas and played games. A field trip to the local fire station added to their experience, where they witnessed equipment used by firefighters. The firefighters delighted their young audience as they demonstrated the use of a powerful water hose to extinguish fires, explaining how they control water pressure to reach required spots during rescues. The Bag-free Day proved to be a day of learning by doing and observing for the students.
