Republic Day

India celebrated its 72nd Republic Day on 26th January, 2021 with fervour, grandeur and zeal in a pandemic-induced socially distant way. Swati Rathore became the first female pilot to lead the fly-past in a Republic Day parade. 2021 Padma Shri winners included social workers- truly unsung heroes. A young and feisty Indian cricket team valiantly won at Australia’s fortress Gabba.

The commendable transition from an offline to an online learning platform made this year’s Republic Day celebration at NPS Rajajinagar a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The students of grade 8 delivered speeches on the country’s rich heritage, history and significance of this day. Many students got the chance to showcase their musical talents and digital skills. Posters were made by students to honour our Motherland. Republic Day celebrations turned into a display of inclusiveness irrespective of various diversities.
