Sri Purandara Dasa and Sri Thyagaraja Aaradhana Sangeethothsava

National Public School, driven by its commitment to promoting the rich culture and heritage of our nation, orchestrated a music concert as a tribute to the eminent personalities Sri Purandara Dasa and Sri Thyagaraja.

Aptly titled "Aaradhana Sangeethothsava," the event draws its name from the Sanskrit term "Aradhana," signifying the act of glorifying God.

Sri Purandara Dasa and Thyagaraja Aradhana stand as an annual celebration dedicated to these two influential composers who have significantly shaped Indian classical music, particularly Carnatic music.

The concert showcased a harmonious ensemble of artists proficient in Tablas, Flutes, Harmonium, Keyboard, Mandolin, Mrudangam, Sitar, and the Veena.

Within the school's auditorium, an aura of devotion enveloped the space as the instruments harmonized with the vocals of the students, who passionately rendered Kritis and Ragas in homage to these two esteemed personalities.

In its 7th edition, 'Aradhana Sangeethothsava' is not just an event; it is a heartfelt endeavour to remember, honour, and perpetuate the musical and spiritual legacies left behind by these maestros.
