75th Republic Day Celebrations


The 75th Republic Day celebrations at National Public School, Rajajinagar, were marked by an artistic program organized by the Grade 8 students, infusing the atmosphere with a sense of patriotism.

The proceedings commenced with the customary flag hoisting ceremony, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem and a welcoming speech. Subsequent to these formalities, students delivered speeches in both Hindi and English, emphasizing the significance of commemorating Republic Day.

Adorned in traditional and regional attire, students collectively sang the iconic song "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara," also known as Ek Sur or One Tune, promoting the spirit of national integration. This musical presentation set a resonant tone, leaving indelible memories.

A Kannada poem dedicated to patriotism was recited, extolling the virtues associated with love for one's country. Following this, a Hindi poem titled "Duniya Ka Itihaas," eloquently penned by former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was recited.

A street play, portraying the contemporary meaning of patriotism, unfolded, providing a thought-provoking perspective. The event concluded on a lively note with a well-choreographed dance, focusing on the current developments in India.
