Onam – Pookalam 2016

Little did the children know what they would be doing when each class was asked to bring a handful of flowers of specified colours. On the morning of 16th September, the children got busy separating the petals from the flowers which was a fun filled activity for them. Each class was asked to fill in the pattern (already drawn on the auditorium floor) with the flower petals. The pattern began to grow into a huge, magnificent pookalam. It was only after the entire pattern was filled with petals, that the children realized what a wonderful pookalam they had made. It was a delight to the eyes and was appreciated by everyone in the school. The students of all classes visited the auditorium to view the Pookalam made by the little kindergarteners.
