Independence Day Celebrations

“Today there is freedom in minds, faith in words, pride in our hearts….”

These words echoed the sentiment of the celebration of India’s 70th Independence Day during the morning assembly. Students of Grade X presented a spectacular show that resonated with patriotism in all forms – shloka recitation, speeches, poem, quiz, dance, instrumental and vocal music. A live painting session depicted the journey of India from subjugation to freedom. The program left everyone on an optimistic note with these motivating words by the Principal – Freedom is the liberation of the mind, the ability to think beyond ourselves. Freedom is being human, freedom is being Indian!

Jai Hind!
