National Public School, Rajajinagar, celebrated the much awaited multicultural
extravaganza, Rhythms 2012, an annual event of the school. The musical
travelogue, 'Around the World in Eight Days', an in-house production, presented by the
students of Grades VI to VIII, revisited Jules Verne's literary novel and was brought
to life in a new avatar. Armed with modern forms of communication, Fogg III, and his
able valet Passepartout III, set out on a journey around the world in 8 days. In the course
of their travels, they get a taste of the culture and practices across the globe. The truly
mesmerizing and riveting dance performance concluded with a message of unity and
brotherhood, while bringing in the realization that our own home state of Karnataka has
so much to offer of beauty and greatness!
In her welcome address, Mrs. Santhamma Gopalkrishna, Co-founder National Public
Schools and Senior Principal, NPS Rajajinagar, urged the parents to appreciate and
endorse the efforts of their children as an essential step towards personality development.
Dr. Bindu Hari, Director of National Public Schools, India and Singapore, NAFL &
TISB, reiterated the need for parents to be understanding of their children and urged them
to participate in all activities that their children undertake and guide them appropriately.
