National Public School, Rajajinagar, celebrated the much awaited multicultural extravaganza, Rhythms 2012, an annual event of the school. The musical travelogue, 'Around the World in Eight Days', an in-house production, presented by the students of Grades VI to VIII, revisited Jules Verne's literary novel and was brought to life in a new avatar. Armed with modern forms of communication, Fogg III, and his able valet Passepartout III, set out on a journey around the world in 8 days. In the course of their travels, they get a taste of the culture and practices across the globe. The truly mesmerizing and riveting dance performance concluded with a message of unity and brotherhood, while bringing in the realization that our own home state of Karnataka has so much to offer of beauty and greatness!

In her welcome address, Mrs. Santhamma Gopalkrishna, Co-founder National Public Schools and Senior Principal, NPS Rajajinagar, urged the parents to appreciate and endorse the efforts of their children as an essential step towards personality development.

Dr. Bindu Hari, Director of National Public Schools, India and Singapore, NAFL & TISB, reiterated the need for parents to be understanding of their children and urged them to participate in all activities that their children undertake and guide them appropriately.
