National Public School had their Graduation Day for the students of class 12, Batch 2009, on the 25th Jan in the school auditorium
The auspicious occasion began with a melodious invocation 'Jagatha Janani Jagadamba' invoking divine blessings. Dr Justice M Rama Jois the Chief Guest lit the ceremonial lamp and in his address to the graduating students spoke about the need to strengthen character, attain wisdom and follow the path of virtuosity which would help them become better human being and lead to the progress of the nation. Dr K.P Gopalakrishna, Chairman of the NPS schools urged and, inspired the students to widen their horizons and reach greater heights. Dr Bindu Hari- Director of the NPS Schools in her powerful and thought provoking presentation strongly advised the students on the need to adopt morality and imbibe good values in life while refraining from indulging in harmful and anti-social activities. The parent fraternity emphasized the role played by the institution in the development of their wards. The School Prefect Nidhi Ramaraj representing the outgoing batch spoke nostalgically about the indelible memories of the school that they would carry with them.
The Principal Mrs Shanthamma Gopalkrishna declared the students Graduates and they went on to take the school pledge, followed by a heart-warming rendition of the School hymn, "Shine On Us". The splendid and memorable evening ended with inspirational songs by the teachers dedicated to the students. This was followed by a sumptuous banquet on the school grounds.
A memorable magical moment indeed for the students of 2009-2010.
